Data Deletion Instructions

We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data from OVIXA Labs services.
Self-Service Deletion
For most of our services, you can delete your account and data directly:
- Log in to your account on the relevant service
- Go to Settings or Account Settings
- Look for "Delete Account" or "Delete My Data"
- Follow the confirmation steps
Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:
Send an email to privacy@ovixa.io with:
- Subject: Data Deletion Request
- Email address associated with your account
- Service(s) you want data deleted from (e.g., LinkRoot, LinkDrop)
- Confirmation that you understand this action is irreversible
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion, we remove:
- Your account profile and settings
- Content you created (links, files, posts, etc.)
- Usage history and analytics associated with your account
- Any stored preferences or customizations
What We May Retain
Certain data may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records: Payment history for accounting and tax compliance
- Legal holds: Data subject to legal proceedings or investigations
- Aggregated data: Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you
- Backup retention: Data may persist in backups for up to 30 days after deletion
Processing Time
We process deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. If we need additional information to verify your identity, we will contact you.
Third-Party Services
If you signed up using a third-party service (e.g., Google, Facebook), deleting your OVIXA account does not affect your third-party account. You may also want to revoke OVIXA's access in your third-party account settings.
